Mt.Sanqingshan is a worthy textbook on geomorphology, with major value of geomorphology and aeothetic value of landscape:

(Ⅰ)The granite landform within the geopark is a typical representative among the global granite mountainous peak forest geomorphologies. The landscape is truly stunning all the more of the high scientific and aesthetic values it holds, because of granite mountainous peak it holds, making Mt. Sanqingshan an outstanding natural museum and a worthy geomorphologic textbook. Meanwhile, it provides a natural laboratory for studying the controlling factors and evolutional processes of this kind of unique granite landscapes.

(Ⅱ) The geopark holds the evindece of almost continuous record of 1 billion years of geological evolution, including the evidences and important geological events as stratigraphy, peotrology and structural geology geomorphology as the amalgamation of the supercontinetal Rodinia.

(Ⅲ)There are preserved ancient biologic community and ecological landscapes spanning over 200Ma within the park, with outstanding biological and ecological values. There are 9 types of vegetation in the park. Identified so far in the park are 2,373 species of higher plant and 401 species of vertebrate. In addition, 45 species are listed in theIUCN Species Red List, 146 species are listed in CITES Appendix, 144 species of animal and plant are listed in the China Species Red List, and 79 species are designated as National Key Protection wild animals and plants in China.
