The exhibition “The Dinosaurs of China” was completed satisfactorily in Miami, the US, which was attended by the Zigong Museum of Dinosaurs and the Lufeng Museum of Dinosaurs in Yunnan under the leadership of the Beijing Museum of Natural History upon the kind invitation of the Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium - US. In response to the host’s request, the exhibition that was initiated on June 16, 2007 and finished on September 15, 2008 was prolonged from original one year to one year and three months in consideration of its excellent influence. Visitors of approximately 130,000 person-times were received during this exhibition. The Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium acclaimed this exhibition as the most successful one of introduced circulating exhibitions. Miami at the southern end of Florida Peninsula, the US is a well-known holiday resort throughout the world, where the Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium is located.

The Beijing Museum of Natural History, the Zigong Museum of Dinosaurs and the Lufeng Museum of Dinosaurs in Yunnan showed their unique and representative collectors during this exhibition. The Zigong Museum of Dinosaurs displayed six dinosaur skeletons and other typical specimens including dinosaurs’ teeth, sauropods’ bony tail club, fish fossil and petrified wood. A few genuine collectors of Yangchuanosaurus hepingensis were also shown there.
