Over 200 professional tour guides from Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, gathered at the Danxia Mountain World Geopark on August 12, for a promotion of applying for world natural heritage. Then an activity of Ten-thousand Signature Drive to support Danxia Mountain applying for World Natural Heritage started.
At the new main gate of Danxia Mountain scenery area located at the Northwest suburb of Shaoguan City. More than 200 professional tour guides from travel services of Shaoguan City read out their written proposal supporting Danxia Mountain applying for World Natural Heritage. They expressed their will of “protecting their ecological homeland and supporting applying for World Natural Heritage; to be civilized envoys of Danxia Mountain tourism and publicity envoys for Danxia Mountain applying for World Natural Heritage.”
To make known the knowledge of applying for world natural heritage, concerning department of Shaoguan city opened lectures for tour guides.
