Northern Rocks 2008 is the fifth North Pennines Festival of Geology and Landscape.
The festival celebrates the world-class geology of the North Pennines. It coincides with European Geoparks Week and is an official event of the UN International Year of Planet Earth.
With themed walks, geological holidays, mine tours, talks, children's events and much more - there is something for everyone!
