Recently an evaluation meeting on Longhu Mountain of Jiangxi Province applying to become a Global geopark was held in Nanchang City by Jiangxi Bureau of Land and Resources, which meant that applying work for Longhu Mountain to become a Global geopark was officially started.
Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province is well-known for its Danxia landform, Taoism and ancient tomb groups on cliffs. The Danxia landform in the park is complete in kinds, typical and precious according to experts.
