General Information

  The Forum's Organizing Committee is sincerely inviting you to participate in the International Forum on Geoparks: Interpretation and Sustainable Development that will be held in Yuntaishan World Geopark, Henan Province, China, October 11-14, 2007. This is the first conference on Interpretation in China.

 

Forum Themes

  To promote the research about interpretaion and sustainable development in Geoparks , to share information and experiences on Interpretation system and sustainable development of Geoparks ; to identify major challenges about interpretation and sustainable development that Geoparks are facing and ways to overcome such challenges; to facilitate communication and networking among geographers and educators about Geoparks;  to raise public awareness on interpretation and sustainable development in Geoparks.

Language

 The working language of the forum is English. Simultaneous English-Chinese translation will be available for the opening session.
